Itinerary

On the first day of this enchanting journey, we depart from your Marrakech hotel and set off for Telouat and the renowned Kasbah at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient walled marketplace is a labyrinth of stalls and souks, exuding a truly timeless atmosphere. Our adventure continues to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the Gateway to the Desert and a hub for major film productions. Movies like "The Mummy" and "Lawrence of Arabia" have been filmed in this captivating region, and spotting a film crew at work is not an uncommon occurrence. After a hearty lunch at one of the charming cafes in the city, we venture into the Dades Valley. Here, we descend into the Boulmaine Dades to spend the night on the very border of the desert.

The second day begins with a delicious breakfast in the Dades Valley, where you can further explore the stunning landscape. We proceed to the Todra Gorge, a magnificent canyon with well-maintained asphalt roads, rock climbers, and occasional flooding from the Dades River. This remarkable place offers a unique scenery that enchants travelers. Afterward, we embark on a journey out of the Dades Valley and head to Merzouga. As the sun descends, you'll experience the thrill of a camel trek to a desert camp. Camel riding across the dunes and witnessing the captivating desert sunset is a rare and memorable experience that few have the opportunity to enjoy unless they embark on a desert tour.
Spending the night in a desert camp is an unparalleled experience. Camels are gently tethered, Moroccan dishes are served, the rhythmic sounds of Berber drums resonate in the desert night, and the sky gradually transforms from an inky black canvas to a breathtaking tapestry of stars.

As the sun rises, the camels will transport you back to Merzouga. Your journey continues towards Fes, with the opportunity to explore the charming city of Ifrane, known for its pristine environment and captivating architecture. You may also catch a glimpse of the Ziz Valley along the way. The expedition culminates in Fes, where you'll arrive in time for an evening meal, marking the conclusion of your unforgettable private tour.
